going places now on the way home 9/11/11
Re: going places now in taupo 23/6/2011
Hi all, massive thanks to Morgan, Nzdatman, for the use of his dads workshop and gear, the generator was put back in place and safely stowed away again, Taupo has been mint, we have been parked on a farm up the back of beyond with no cell coverage, and no internet, so no yexts or datsun site for 5 days, but we are back in coverage again and going to check out morgans car collection after he finish,s work today, then we will continue to head north to Tauranga.

Was good to see ya again Wal, and meet your family / drool over your mobile mansion!2 doors wrote:yesterday was an ass, I knocked the side of the truck against Ross,s fence on the way out of his place then Sarah sprained her ankle falling off his deck, and after that I managed to smash the generator into a rise in the road, and basically tore it off its mounts, however there was a highlight which was seeing Flauskis beutifull skyline.
we are now in Taupo and loving it, hope to catch up with nzdatman.
See ya at Akaroa. Enjoy the warmer weather and shake free terra firma.

I'll keep an eye out for when you are in Tauranga. I live a bit over an hour away, but sometimes I travel through there so could potentially come over to meet/have a yarn.

Well Wal has just spent a week in Taupo taking the rust out of my old man's escort. The man has an amazing workrate, awesome skills and isn't afraid to tackle the tough jobs that most people would turn their nose up at.
The only problem is being so good everyone wants him, the old man was so impressed he offered him a job in our engineering shop, but he's a man on a mission and unfortunately for us decided to carry on.
I would recommend him to anyone wanting to get car/sheetmetal/welding work. Thanks Wal.
