Going to be a shame to get any dirt underneath this perfect undercarriage.

Re: 69 510 Ground Up Rebuild
Hey guy's, my most humble appologies for being so slack in updating the thread on how progress is going.
My only excuse is that I have had limited time and $$ to spend on the Datto in the past few months as I have been busy planning a wedding for April. Unfortunately the Datsun will not be ready for the big day as I would have hoped, but it's not the end of the world as I will be able to focus on it when we get back from the Honeymoon.
Here are a few snaps of where I am up to with it all the same.
The rear is all together finally and I have actually managed to get it sitting on 2 of its own wheels for the first time in years:
I have set the engine & tranz up on a little trolly so that I can lift the chassis up and lower it over the engine to install it with ease:
Engine sitting in engine bay & bolted it (again):
Checking clearance between clutch/fuel lines & engine:
I have also been reassembling the doors as I have been going so that they are ready for when it needs to be certified, but didn't really think that I needed photos of them.
Am planning on spending next week working on it before I go back to work.

Probably won't have any other Datsuns there as it is just going to be a fairly small family affair and their are no other Datsuns in the family.
How's life in the shaky CHCH?
