I had to lower the front of mine more than the rear, to get the guard gap even. Always room for more low

yeah i haven't even touched the front yet haha! i would say it will only need an inch or so lower.. but considering the exhaust is only about an inch off the group its kinda limiting my choices..

Yeah my exhaust is like that too. Scrapes on the ground sometimes, worth it though haha

getting them from this dude on trademe, he makes loads of fiberglass stuff, this is his profile http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listin ... ber=134367" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have a spare set of pretty small flares, there the ones that came on my 1200. they widen your gaurd about 45mm and fit a 1200 arch perfectly!

Thanks Nick!

been doing lots of little crap latey, made a boot floor out of MDF, hopefully it doesnt snap! and i'll cover it with viynl in the next few days hopefully!
also got some new flares and slapped them on, then hit them with some paint today, also gave one of my sills another couple of coats of paint today as she was a bit thin,
mounted my oil catch can and plumbed that up,
made a littlecover thing over my fire wall where the loom comes through because the last owner had butchered the hell out of it and it wasn't sealed for cert!
and sold my wheels to some GC so i'm no the look out for some more cool ones!
also changed a few earting things on the computer around a put a few inline fuses in!

now the main job is getting the motor going once i've got some new wheels!

but i still have a voltage problem where i only get 10v when cranking which isnt really enough.. but i'll try figure something out!

cheers gingofthesouth

slapped my flares on with some new rubbers and bolts, now i'm just waiting for my new wheels to see what it looks like! also gave the rocker cover a lick of paint and it makes the engine bay look a million times better! tidied up the gearbox cross member for the cert too, and whacked some seatbelts in. also cleaned up a few earths and realised the alternator wasn't connected up :roll: so hopefully when cranking i'll get a bit more voltage now!
