front struts

front struts

hi im neil & i have a nissan laurel 1985,im after a pair of front struts,i believe theyre the same or similar 2 180b datsun,any help would be greatly appreciated,thanks. :)

Are your struts rooted, or just the inserts? Or do you have none at all?

Id say an 85 laurel would be closer to 910 or r30 dont you think?
Single pot caliper with vented disc?

85 is C32.
It'd be very like the R31 IIRC.

yeah single pot calipers,theyre still in the car,they failed 4 a wof,i dont know if the inserts can be replaced.

the previous owner put new cobra springs in but didnt renew the shocks :(

you shouldnt need new struts, just inserts. you can get them from bnt, repco etc

I had a set of c32 struts which i just pulled inderts out of and put new heavier oil in them and it worked mint, they're basically the same as r31 struts

Pulling them apart and cleaning all the crap off then refilling them with ISO 46 hydraulic oil works mint if you're a poor dirty bogan like most Mastertonians.
