Plus there is truck loads of GCs on here just waiting to give advice

I want mine ready for a Datsun cruse that was meant to be last year but it will make one

Now I got heaps of room I can un-stitch the welds holding the top valance fire wall assy and start to repair it
on the bench.

Im with everyone else, one of my fav coupes for sure.

If you have the skills/tools to do most of the rust yourself (which it appears you have given by your unstitching etc!) then do it.

Had to have a break as missus and kids getting grumpy.
Had a jam last night ,unstiched the inner RHS panel by accelerator pedal.

just got to neutralise the rust, cut it out , patch it up and then POR15 it
progress is slow but steady, doing at least 1 thing most night's.

Doing the one thing a night trick adds up. PLus you're going to be able to properly rust proof all the impossible to get to parts of the car doing it this was.
