Just thought i would post some pics of my R31 project car,
I brought her for $500 off a old lady about 2008 wof and rego.
Was a auto RB20e, have fitted R32 GTST running gear, The R32 pedal box even bolted into the R31.
Have fitted A31 cefiro front struts hubs etc ,modified and fitted R32 4 pots up front and 2 pots rear(was a drum rear end)IRS
Now in the process of building up a LSD for her and some adjustable suspension to get a lil bit lower .

Yeah I love these skylines, more than the r32. I want one lol. Even better though would be an Fj20ET powered DR30.

Like this though, and as leppa says more low :P

I owned the R32 coupe before this ,just could not fit the kids comfortably so i decided to get the R31 and convert the running gear over .happy with that decision as the price of a R31 now is massive.

Agree , this is awesome. Whatever you do don't lose/break a headlight , these alone fetch $600 for the pair second hand :o

That's cool. Makes me feel all nostalgic about the rooted factory turbo one I bought for parts many moons ago, had a 5 tape changer in the centre console hah.

How'd you set up the hand brake on the back? What oil filter relocation kit are you using?

I got the relocation kit from trade me and scored the oil cooler off a mitsi delica diesel at pick a part for $22 its a good size too, As for the park brake, I scored another rear sudframe that had discs on the back which used the internal drum still like the R32 , the internal drums turned out to be the same I.D the caliper bolt holes are even ths same distance apart but, did have to space the caliper out just used hardend washers to space it out to clear the bigger rotor width as it is now a vented rotor and not solid . looks sweet with all the NISSAN logos on each caliper , brakes even better especially with all the new power. :burnout:
