Ute X-member is now on its way (thanks Kitch) so yay! Now, I have been asked to so am trying to track down some engine mounts to suit. Again, if anyone has any or can point me in the direction of someone who does, I would be very appreciative.

Dyl, not the rubber mount blocks he will be after, will be the brackets that bolt to the block, which are different on the later A series motors, from the early model A 12 brackets Braasy will have at the mo.

Kitch is correct. Have the rubbers, not the metal mounts that bolt on between the rubbers and the engine.Kitch wrote:Dyl, not the rubber mount blocks he will be after, will be the brackets that bolt to the block, which are different on the later A series motors, from the early model A 12 brackets Braasy will have at the mo.

I think I have a collection of A series steel mounts. None will be off a ute, but you're welcome to grab the box, and see if anything works?
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Cheers for the offer but Kitch has come to my rescue again A set of mounts are soon to be on there way! If this keeps up, I may end up owning a whole vehicle made of Kitch sourced parts Which isn't a bad thingBartman wrote:I think I have a collection of A series steel mounts. Thanks again Kitch, and x-member has now arrived. Yay!

Re: Braasy's Datsun 1200 (B110) 4 Door Sedan
Engine mounts have arrived, now have to organise a time to get them and the cross member mounted. Recoring the existing radiator and touching up, need new battery as compression too high for current wee battery. New headers to arrive (should have been here today I would think) and new boot rubber to put on. To source new water pump, alternator, water temp housing and sensor, and fuel pump (so new engine has new bits attached to it lol). Still hoping to have car at least up and running come Akaroa (albeit with a spotty paint job for now), but hopefully well run in and with carbs up and running. Thanks go out to Kitch for his 1200 parts archive Anyone know where I could find an electronic distributor for my wee car? Understand they are hard to come by these days...

Hmmm... Just about to advertise my spare EDIS kit for sale - could be ideal for your application, especially since motor is currently out of car.
