280ZX french GR3 rally car projet

Hello to all, Today I am going to tell you the story of my 280 ZX... In January, 2010 one friends fall accidentally by chance on a DATSUN 280ZX of 1980 in a "breakage" in the city of AVIGNON in the South of FRANCE

The 280ZX was taken in the floods of SAINT TROPEZ to lower(to go down) 2009, the automobile stayed 4 hours in the water ......

To save the automobile of the DESTRUCTION, I bought him(it) 500€ ( 705 § USD ) it is a good blow because it is cheap! But many work in the future to make her run one day, but that makes me not fear!

It was when we are go the sortire of the "breakage", the automobile was repatriated in the first one at my friend in AVIGNON

In February, 2010, I return at my friend's in Avignon to get back my 280ZX and return it at home in Marseille (where DAN, Datsunboy and his wife know because they already came!!!!!!)

On February 22nd, 2010 The automobile is at home! In Marseille

we are fetch her with one 4X4 and a trailer, we put 2 hours of road for everything goes to Avignon by the highway it is now spent well the automobile is under "cover" for winter!

In MARCH, 2010, The cleaned case of injection and two composing electronique changed, everything is OK!

We find it this year in APRIL, 2001... Meanwhile I had an enormous "slipped disc" which has almost made for me lose my legs definitively he(it) has needed to operate me immediately for the bottom(stocking) of my back, the operation succeeded well but he(it) has me needed months of rest with ban to make efforts and to work on my 10 DATSUN

now, I have in more a MAZDA 121 cosmo coupé of 1977 Found and saved from the abandonment(relinquishment) in the region of the ARDÈCHE in the center of FRANCE

and a TOYOTA CELICA TA 28: 1600ST Liftback of 1977 ... The cellica I found her(it) in the region of BRITTANY in the northwest of FRANCE

Well let us return to April 2011... In 1st I took(brought) out my new charger to battery Et put in load the new battery of origin ...

Then uncover the DATSUN which, my faith was protected well by them double(copy) baches the 1st of which is aerated and protects stripes(scratches) on the body

I defused(unsettled) the days before(watches) candles, rocked by some penetrating oil in cylinders they were seized up in no way (I had already rinsed the engine several times and to change the oil filter and put some good oil engine last September) But there were 4 valves of seized up, thus dismantling of the mask tipper and " bombarded the WD40 on the springs(competences) of valves " and get greasy with the oilcan of oil " in the former(ancient) ":lol!: The camshaft, the landings of camshaft, tippers, the tails of valves the chaine of distribution(casting) and "very important" the holes of greasing of oil to grease all the high engine;)

The support of battery(drum kit) serves to put tools and to store the new candles of ignition...

And by means of patience, I managed to dégripper all the valves, the high engine is oiled well, I indeed have make turned(shot) the engine in the hand during several minutes, but I continued more because with my back, " that makes him(it) in no way ". H'm, be going to need " rétroplanigué the lads please" I advance(move) slowly needs that I leave

We remballe everything and in the next....

2011 Aout to be indeed able to work on my automobile this winter, the 280ZX is put in the garage, he(it) has needed to reorganize everything because the automobile is too long 4M35 and I had only 4M 18 available!!!

Then I removed adorns them shocks!!!! And here is 4M18!!! Hihhihihi and the garage closes!

At the moment I stopped emptying the inside of the DATSUN to be able to clean everything " in big water " and to be able to prepare the inside with Bucket seats, safety harness, Arch of safety(security) etc.....

The engine is going not to delay turning(shooting), I wait for a new admission express and then " WROMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!! "
