Well you'd never guess but I have worked on it again. Only the heater core out of the heater assembly. Heater core appears to be in very good condition considering it's nearly 40. It could have had a replacement but it does have the correct decals so it tends to make me think it is at the very least a stock part.
Wal, must organise a time for you to come around and spray the wheel wells. May as well keep the momentum up.

Yep, that's one of the money pits.

Still have the old plates but have these ones to put on. Probably the first thing I bought for it apart from a new fuel filter.
