Hey guys,
New here, got my first car, an '82 910 Bluebird, and Dad's looking at buying me a set of wheels for it for my 21st.
The wheels I really want are 15x8 with an offset of 0, and I was wondering if anyone would know, first of all, if they'd fit the 910 at all, and second of all, how much I'd need to widen the guards if they would fit.
The wheels are very similar to Volk TE37Vs
I am going to see if Mag & Tyre Direct in Palmerston North stock the wheels, and see if I am able to get a test-fit, but I am out of town at the moment.
Second choice is these, 15x7 +38 offset
Hope someone can help
Cheers, Sean

Re: Wheels for 910 Bluebird
hey man, welcome. i dont think you will have too much trouble fitting in 15 x 8 rims under the guards. go for the zero offset, as IMO the +38 wont do the car justice. as for flairing the guards, wait till you fit the wheels to see what needs to be done. you might just get away with leaving them be, or just a small amount of rolling to pull them out a bit.
would like to see a project thread if you plan on doing some work to it.

Re: Wheels for 910 Bluebird
Cheers for the help.
Will get a project thread up sometime. For now the only plans are the wheels, because they're being bought for me hopefully, fixing some rust, and maybe a paint job.
What do you reckon for tyres? I'm new to this sorry.
Thanks, Sean

8s will be sweet, the other wheels are not an option! 195 45 15 tyres or 195 50 15

Re: Wheels for 910 Bluebird
they can get those wheels in 15x9 too! you could run 9s all around easy as on a bluebird! get them and stretch some tyres on and it'll look rad!

Re: Wheels for 910 Bluebird
There were only two sets of those wheels in 4x114.3 left in the country, 4 8x15 and, 2 8x15, 2 9x15. Got the 4 8x15. Really looking forward to getting them on the car, going with 205/50/15, only gonna stretch if I have to, and even then only 195s.
Also got some pictures of the car just now before it got too dark, you can see them here

go for the 195/45 or 195/50. I had 205/50 on 15x7 0 offset on my 910 and they only just fit with guards rolled not flared at all.SEEN88 wrote:There were only two sets of those wheels in 4x114.3 left in the country, 4 8x15 and, 2 8x15, 2 9x15. If youre going to get 9s at all get 9s for the back and 8s for the front. 9s all round would look stupid as they would stick out heaps on the front

Re: Wheels for 910 Bluebird
Cheers man, will see how it pans out when I get the wheels. Should hopefully arrive tomorrow, but my birthday's not til November so I don't know whether I'll be getting them just yet. You said you had rolled guards, did you do it yourself or get it done professionally? If I have to roll the guards, I will probably buy a guard roller on Trade Messsx wrote:go for the 195/45 or 195/50. Re: Wheels for 910 Bluebird
I did it myself with a bit of 2.5inch shaft between tyre and guard and drove back and forward slowly. It works algud for the back guards but its a pretty rough way of doing it.
Just for reference of the difference tyre size makes I had 185/60 15s and they were fine then i changed to 205/50 on the same rims and I had to beat the shit out of my back guards to stop them rubbing. Its a hell of a lot easier to make wide rims fit with slightly undersized tyres
