Nice.....bought back heaps of good memories... Who owns the Findley sponsered car.? Glen Jones (well his brother in law) had that car and then I thought it went to Auckland?

Wayne Murdoch in Timaru built up the Findlay's Bakery Car. However its almost certainly not the original shell, I found that with a few of the cars I had a look at that there had been two cars built out of parts from one original car, engine bits in one and the shell somewhere else with a different engine. Seems that with race cars the definition of original is a fair bit more relaxed.

Noddie Murdoch brought the car off Laurence Brown (The late Dave Browns twin brother)
But assume he was inolved with the preliminary build at some point.
the car was painted at my mates work a couple of years back.
