Thanks mike! As I was scrolling through them just now, I said to mikewazowski that man Cheese takes takes heaps of pics. It must have taken an age to upload them.
Thanks to all who made the effort to come along. Especially those who travelled from out of town.
I hope there aren't too many sore heads after last nights afterfunction!

Id just like to say what an awesome job the committee have done this year. These events wouldn't be the success they are without all your guys hard work. Not just the time you'be given up for meetings and working bees etc but also the amazing prizes, the organization of the bbq, the code of conduct etc all made the day run so smoothly. You guys are awesome

Steves B310 Sunny Wagon - nice new wheels and a fresh round headlight conversion.
CA1DES powered 1200 Coupe - Lovin the wide wheels
Shanes immaculate 4door 1600 - A very accurate representation of an off the showroom floor standard datsun.
DR30's with FJ20et and SR20det power.
Andy's 1200 sedan from the "RIVERSIDE CREW" - well done on the conversion from Z1et to CA1det and engine bay respray since the last time it was out.
Hope the fingers all good - theres a pic of the dreaded fan too.
Lewis's 180B SSS - looking as good as ever - this guy does sweet interior work.
This 1200 sounded the old school business coming up the hills.
Mickeys 120y - great boot install
My R31 - frowning eyes and all
Johns diseasel 620 - john also looking disapointed there was no one to be towed - this this has done more tows in the time johns owned it than i have changed undies - yes i do change everyday
Kanes 120y wagon - a quick rear brake rebuild on saturday night - give me all your wheels.
Im sure some sifty dude used to own this Sunny Wagon - great effort on this car dude - this was bog stock when Scott took ownership a year and a half ago.
Chris's Gloria - Pilarless goodness.
Vetty's ute - what a noise this thing makes - and the black smoke out the truck stack - shes a real "Ice Road Trucker" from way back.
TUFDAT - with a bit of a woopsy on the rear guard - lucky this was not worse - and no it was not "little johnny, hit it - drift damage
Had more plasters on the guard but had to tend to a certain someones fingers from the FAN incident

Seconded. Was my first Akaroa cruise and I was pleasently surprised at how well it all went together. I didn't know what to expect, but thanks for making my first a great day! And thanks Lisa/Brock for letting us participate and help a little by bringing the R31. Much apreciated!LUFDAT wrote:Id just like to say what an awesome job the committee have done this year. Yes was an awesome cruise, only let down by a couple of idiots throwing bottles out of car windows and openly displaying open vessels which unfortunately bought the attention of the law. Hopefully the code of conduct will be followed a little better next year.
but big thanks to bart for defusing the situation before it got nasty.

Yeah, we only had trouble with one drunken guy...but just being stupid and not thinking. Well done to everyone for throwing a sweet as day and for putting up with driving behind my slow butt! Can't wait to see photos!!
