Had a sweet time meeting every one and checking out all the sweet cars down south. Only problem was some leakage with the rear brakes (thanks again Bocky and John) so other than that the datto didnt miss a beat. Although the under power ness of it all was getting to me so I had a tinker with the secondaries on the carb today and now have them opening earlier. What a difference that has made, The flat spot is now gone and when I press the pedal it pulls way harder than it has before. No hesitation right up to thru the rev range

Stoked you got that issue with the surging fixed, come back any time mate, hopefully I'll have my 510 here if you do! Was saying to Brock that we must have had NZ's two best 120Ys here last weekend.
Picture-less up dates are dumb but I have limited access to computer so some thing is better than nothing.
I brought a new daily so I could get into the engine swap on the datto. Sold the A15 to a local guy and then dropped the 4age in the hole. Sump clears, 86 headers clear the steering and dont hang to low (they actually sit perfect) gear box shifter sits in the factory hole. Its kind of like a c_ck up the bum. Its tight but fits.
Next step is to make up some engine mounts which Im starting next week and find money to make this work.

Good shit Kane!
ONe word of advise though, (Not trying to tell you how to suck eggs) when you mount up the engine, do it with the steering on full lock. as you go to full lock, the drag link will rise. So what might be tight with the wheels pointing straight ahead, could be a hit on full lock.
Just food for though..........
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............
