Re: EOI - Stearing box bearings
Ok the short story first.
Bearings are gonna cost $12 each plus $12 worth of freight each plus GST.
So $27.60 each ( ).
That freight is a killer!
Apparently though NSK's list price for the bearing would normally retail for around $40 a bearing so still extremely good deal.
So who still wants bearings! I dont want to pay for bearings people dont want to pay for now they know the final price
The long story.
I called Wilsons Bros up after collating orders. Turns out the guy who organised for me in Sept had retired. Then it turns out NSK NZ claimed that the bearing does not exist and the bearing numbers where not in their system and did not exist. Nobody could help me.
So I got a translator, and I called NSK Thailand direct, who said they would get back to me but could not sell to me direct. Then I got an email from NSK head office in the USA who apologised for the whole fiasco and would get in touch with NSK Australia and NZ and inform them to sort it out for me. Then I got an email from NSK NZ who said they Would get Wilson Bros to give me a call with final pricing.
Waiting two weeks and go no such call so went into Wilson Bros and got it sorted.
Awesome. The new guy I talked to at Wilson Bros was very polite and nice and will be my port of call in the future.

So they are going to send each individual bearing to you in it's own seperate package? each one individually track and traced? lolgingofthesouth wrote:Bearings are gonna cost $12 each plus $12 worth of freight each plus GST.

That freight is a killer!
Can't they stick them in a box all together?
(not that I'm ordering any lol)

Lol, nah it just turned out that the shipping cost divided by the amount of bearings was $12 loldatsunboy wrote:So they are going to send each individual bearing to you in it's own seperate package? each one individually track and traced? lolgingofthesouth wrote:Bearings are gonna cost $12 each plus $12 worth of freight each plus GST.
