got the boot and rear wheels arches all done today, came up way glossier than in photos.
Also my new noltec camber plates turned up yesterday, not the exact design i was after but they were a good price and they should work the same

But also went and had a spend up on bushes, asked for notholane and what do they send me? lol
Still needing to find new sway bar mount bushes and all the rear leaf bushes if anyone can help.
Also the 180b noltec control arm bushes pictured, they're ment to be for 180b (cos 140j isn't listed from what i can find) are they correct?? if so how are you ment to fit them?

Re: 1973 Datsun 140j rebuild
Those control arm bushes look like the rear trailing arm bushes for a 180B with IRS. If yours is solid axle then they are useless to you. I can try and find the part number for front control arm bushes they should be same for 180B and 140J. Also did your parts get to you in time?

Re: 1973 Datsun 140j rebuild
you have a fantastic fun time, removing them with a hacksaw! lol
rip the insides out, then the old bush's will have an outer steel sleeve that will likely be really stuck in there. I used a hacksaw to carefully cut through a section of the outer sleeve, then get a screw driver or cold chisel, and start beating/bending it out.

Got all the door/boot shuts painted today, also fixed a couple of runs in the boot so its looking quite good, then got it all sitting on axel stands so i could drop all the suspention out and finish the underside off.
