SSS Coupe! Oh, I'll miss it, datsunboy! People here in US love it because it is super rare here.
Anyways, here are some updates about my visit.
My travel schedule stays the same as announced already. Sunday 22th is the Christchurch meeting (I need a lift at the airport), and the following Monday is going to be a garage tour and touring. I'm hoping someone local takes the lead on this for me. And if the point of contact is made clear, that'll be helpful for me. I'd welcome all types of Japanese classics. I fly back to Auckland on early Tuesday morning.
For the Auckland area, I'm expecting a meeting on Saturday 28th. BRONZEE from the Z Club is trying to get things organised for me. I'm hoping the Datsun Club can synchronise on this via BRONZEE.
I have managed to prepare some "Nostalgic Hero" stickers and the "Japan Association of Designated Classic Cars Preservation" stickers to sell, but I can't carry magazine copies. Sorry for this.
Looking for meeting you all soon!

Re: visit to NZ
what time do you arrive on the sunday?? would it be possible to do the garage day on the sunday to , or maybe after work on the monday to be able to make more garages available as alot of people have just come off holiday and will be back at work.
Re: visit to NZ
garage day on the sunday would suit most of us I reckon, flight comes in on the sat and flys down on sunday from Auckland, hornby just down the road, maybe combine chris and nicks garages then on to kartboys , and back through to skidmarks place before heading to mine and then maybe dan and pips cars, combined with any other people who are keen to expose their projects.
would have to include the porno house at a guess, as there are some gems out there.

Re: visit to NZ
I think garage day and tour would be better suited to sunday also. I can still pick you up from the airport.
We need to organise some other cars also not just datsuns as the magazine covers all makes.

I know that Oldschool are organizing something for up in Auckland, maybe worth asking on there if Christchurch peeps want to join in?
