Re: Introduce Yourself Here
thanks for the reply, Here are a couple more shots from that time
This is my other car, (i sometimes raced 2 on the same day) this one is GTX production 0-1300 class.Folowing me is Dennis Marwood in his 120Y Coupe. These were quick little cars!
they were doing times that would put them mid field with todays 2000cc cars from what I can gather.
regards, Steve

Another couple of shots of the Shellsport car. This car won the Shellsport Championship the 2 years in a row that I ran it. It was sold to Rex Findlay.

Re: Introduce Yourself Here
I hope you guys (and girls) don't mind these old photos from another racing time. some of you may be interested in them.
These cars were very quick, and most people of today would be surprised at the lap times. One time at Wigram these cars, (Mine and Francevic) were clocked at 149mph (240kph).
My car didn't have the engine moved back like the others, it was in the original place.
They were fantastic fun to drive, I wish I could have them back just as they were then.
regards to all Datsun lovers.

Re: Introduce Yourself Here
Thanx Steve, we are loving the Photos , I enjoyed watching way back then. What were your times around Teretonga do you remember?
This is from a time we can relate to. I think even the younger guys who appreciate these cars now.
It's not like the generic 2 brand racing of today! Real cars, real racing.
