the only big thing left to do is the water to air inter-cooler ( wedding and honeymoon in 5 weeks no $$$$ left )

and I need to send the rear springs in to Bellamy & East To get compressed 35mm so that it matches the front a little better

and that's me done for now

A thicker front bar would be nice, but its the one thing I can actually add after Cert

Been for a WOF as a bit of a "test" pre certification to see what else needs doing, have a chat with wof guy ect about the process.

Fully Road Legal apart from

Cert Suspension
Cert Engine
Cert Brakes

WOF guy was really happy that the car was Safe and what not, gave me a few suggestions on what mike make the process go a bit easier for me.

Surprising thing is my "skid tires" will quote "piss in for a WOF"

My WOF guy has dealt with many a certified car and we discussed the requirements and he is happy enough that the build quality was well above a lot of certified cars he has seen.

Stoked, bring on CERT after the wedding!!

Modified Turbo
External Waste gate
Modified "chip tuned ecu"

and mostly because of 20% increase in power over stock

Inter cooler time

At a later date this may be changed to a different Inter cooler core or different pipe work but for now here is what it will be

VR4 500x200X65 IC , its easy to change later as the pipe work doesn't change for even for a different inter cooler core.

Pipe work From Turbo to IC = 2" mandrel bends
From IC to TB will be 2.25" merging up to 2.5" all the way to the Throttle body.

I am wary of putting large pipes on this due to the severe length required to do a front mount I C without cutting up the bodywork of the car.

I will be the first to admit its a bit of a mess of pipes, but that's how its Got'a be to fit around everything

Holey old Hell this is the most complicated intercooler piping ever, it is really really difficult to do a tidy job that accomplished the following

1) Fits without cutting holes in the Car's bodywork ( I refuse to do this )
2) Fits around everything in the engine bay
3) Won't totally suck for lag and performance.
4) Make the pipeing so it can be reused with a larger intercooler at a later date ( 450x300x70 core )

I kept the turbo to IC pipes a bit smaller at 2" so it hopefully flows allright through the quite long pipework, and the IC to Throttle body pipe is 2.25 stepping up to 2.5 which then flares out to 2.75 right at the throttle body.

Worst car ever for doing a front mount on, TBH don't have the Dollars for a water to Air setup and considering i had all the materials and the VR4 IC sitting there in a heap in the corner I am just getting it done so my Cert Plate has "front mount intercooler" on there

Jesus, I don't envy you. What colour are you going to paint the piping?

Might Get it That zinc plated stuff, cheap and durable and because of the process it menas that it will be the easiest way to coat the inside of the pipes and make sure everything is perfectly clean and what not.

the old man got some tractor parts done and they came out mint

I can see a nice spot for a water to air intercooler between your strut tower and rad suport panel.
Wont need to cut body
Wont be laggy at all as pipe work will be so direct
Cheap as chips!
