looking for a speedo cable URGENT

i am looking for a speedo cable for my datsun 160j if anyone has one spare i will buy it off you asap i need one! haha i will ship if needed to be

and my rear brake drum seems to be stuck on and i cant get it off, any suggestions?


also is this cable the same as any other datsun??

datsun cable operated spedo cables can still be bought new, think they are like $9 us off ebay? not to sure about the brake drum, take the shoes out and try unseizing it i geuss

Does your Violet drum have a pair of M8 holes opposite each other between the studs? If you haven't tried using these to push the drum off that may work. Sometimes shocking the drum in by hitting it between the studs can break the hold. Soak around the centre and the stud holes in CRC? Have you backed off the shoes?

hey guys thanks for that help, i used those two holes the guy said and screw in two small bolts and pushed off the drum finally! haha and okay ill have a look on ebay thankyou
