they are going on a 1600, pretty much same as R31 IRS and what not

the common conversions you see for r31 calipers on datsun rear arms, use the r31 live axle type of the 3.0L cars.
r31 irs (well jap spec turbo ones) use the internal drum brake handbrake setup.

Keep an eye on trademe.
I kept surfing it untill I came across a guy sellling a whole diff (non lsd) cheaply. Then I offered him just over half what he was asking for just the brakes.
They arrived minus the all important mounting plates. Meanwhile he fucked off to the chathams, and it took three+ months before I got the plates.

Yea have been doing that, Im probably going to bit the bullet and buy the datsport ones which are already rebuilt and they seem to be reasonably priced to.
