They don't care. Like seriously what can you do about it? nothing.
They are there to uphold the law no matter what their interpretation of it may be.

Anyway. Ute looks sick as :burnout:

What a nice ute, dirtyleppa got it all right.

Too bad to learn there is trouble with the cops. The farther away cops are, the best it is. Where are they when you need them? nowhere to be found ! But they drop in uninvited when you least expect it.

Hope you can tow truck your ride home and make it to comply. They should had issued a citation and let you go home. Impounding the car is ridiculous.

Bet that brunette has been dumped by her boyfriend and she was fired up !

thanx jamie. i tried to get him to issue me a ticket saying i could drive it home, but he was an arse, and i wasnt in the moo to argue any more. ive just this minute towed it home after a long drive home. my old 910 bluebird towed her back without too much hassles. now that its home, i can get the rust sorted then take it for compliance

Good to know your ride is home !

Perhaps one of those air/gas suspension remotely operated would work, as soon as a cop appears, at the touch of a button, the suspension rises and car is at Rallye stance !

Jokes appart, perhaps another set of wheels and tires with taller aspect ratio would give it that edge to comply. Save these tire/wheel currently in the car for show and fun.

Cheers.

tyres and wheels arent the issue here, its the fact that it is lower than 100mm to a structural component and has adjustable coilovers in the front. in new zealand, these have to be certified to be legally allowed on the road
