Is it box steering or rack? S1 or S2?

It's a 1979 I think, manual rack.

I'm pretty sure you can still buy them new, do you really want second hand ones?

I think I've got the old ones out of my car somewhere, the rack ends were new a couple of years ago, I replaced them with much beefier R32 stuff.

You can for the later racks these ones are the same as the rhs of a 260z which like the lhs are nla. They have a M25 female end that screws on the rack. The later use a M14 male these you can still get. The M25 female versions hens teeth.

what are the front guards like and the head light cover/slots?

Guards are rooted like they all are, headlight buckets I'm going to keep at this stage.

Music to my ears, sound like they should command a high price given their rarity? Starting to make me wish I didn't dump all those racks in the other cars I've wrecked.

Now that I think about it the guys next door to my work were rebuilding some rack ends for a guy in Oz not too long ago.
