Very nice now you up to the same fun stage as me. Putting that thing back together, I can't believe there is so much to do when re assembling a car.

Looking very familiar, got any widened steel wheels? Did Dad have any say in the colour?
Looking good Lang, be good to meet you sometime.

Its odd how that works out aye, You could have gone any colour you could think of but cos the car was white you went back to white. I was exactly the same. My car was green so just went with green. And im not even a huge fan of green.

I have 15X8+25 on the back of mine and fits mint.
Can you machine a bit off the back of the rim? Will depend how much meat there is there some low offset rims are really thick in that area.

Might be time to upgrade to a shortened R31/commodore/falcon diff. Well thats my plan for later anyway.
Hi "unlimitedpower".

Any chance you have a few photos of your 160J ??

Very few times I get to see nice "j"s.

Editting : Sorry. I just found your thread. See you at your 140J's thread.

Cheers.

Long time no update, but the car is about 85% finished, engine is built and in the car, the plan is to have it running tomorrow. Just a few more things to re fit and get the screens in some point, will also put up some pics soon, plan is to have it at akaroa this year :D

Am having a few problems with some thing though so any advice would be greatfull:

1- am running a 280z brake m/c, have trimmed the bleed nipples right back but are still hitting on the strut tower, tried blocking the holes with some grub screws but couldn't get a perfect size so they kept leaking.

2- Vaccum feed for brakes, do i just bore a hole in the inlet manifold for this?

3- Feed for the vaccum advance, also where do i run this from?
