Just thought i would update where i am at with this.

Still waiting for Nick to complete exhaust manifold - Not worried about the wait. I'm sure the thing will be a work of art when completed. Hes already remade one already completed side.

Recent purchases

std front guards. Very straight no rust. Unmodded wheel arch
550cc injectors
sold my 14s brought some 15s in the same style but going to get them widened to 15x10 and 15x8 205F and 225rear
Gathering up some bits for the injection/ignition upgrade with the help from Datsunboy we are going to be upgrading to a RB style ignition system which will have the benefit of separate coils, Cas and later model ECU

Car is no longer heading in to be repainted this year (pending running motor). Put that on hold because i want to get the motor running, run all cables. Work out guards and make any other minor changes to body work before its final assembly.

Next big investment will be its plenum. There are a few ideas Im tossing about as to how I am going to go about this

I'd like to see some discussion about plenium design. Thats one facet of performnce engine theory that I'd like to broaden my knowledge base on.

edit, I just came accross this which raises some interesting poitns that I never even gave a second thought to till now. http://horsepowercalculators.net/intake ... old-design" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
