Great true Historic Vintage Race Car

Campaiged Very Competetively by SCCA National Champion Mike Rickman

All Original Log Books all the way back to the 70s

Car has been raced in GT2-GT3 and Production B and S Classes

The car was built from the Original BRE Peter Brock Racing Enterprises catalog

These Datsun 510's were the the Ultimate Track Weapon and totally destroyed the Europeans in the Trans Am 2.5 Class

BRE Factory Datsuns came in and cleaned up on the Alfa Romeo's and BMW's until all the other manufactures pulled out

Nissan (Datsun) made factory competetition parts avalible to all its customers through BRE

This car was built by John Hawkins then traded to Mike Rickman that raced it at famous race tracks like

Seattle Raceway, Laguna Seca, Portland International (Rose Cups), Sears Point, June Sprints, and Westport

The 510 went on to its new Owners that raced it on the East coast and famous tracks like Sebring, Daytona and Mount Tremblant

This car has been very well maintianed and lots of upgrades.

Rebello built 215hp Datsun L20B engine that is fresh with all the right components

50mm Mikuni Carburators, and MSD ignition

The transmission is a Quaife Rocket Box Close Ratio Dog Box

Also included are the Bubble Flairs the are ready to Dzus fastned on

The car has full Wilwood disc brake front and rear.

I can put some more photos of it up if u all like.I got this car in the US.it is on it's way from there now be good to get it back here.be a cool car for everyone to see here I do not know of any like it here.

Looks sweet, really look forward to seeing it running. Browny in Timaru has an SCCA car, very nice and very fast. Not as developed as yours' looks. Skope is in Feb. Would be good to see another Japanese classic running.

Or was that the other chap who passed away doing what he loved? (Driving a datsun racecar) He may have been a brown too?
