Hey guys,
I have a mate possibly interested in this
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =485955137" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And for every car build there is a story behind it, just wondering if any body knows the story behind this one?
I know it was sold then recovered.
I tried hunting for a build thread but saw nothing.
Just wanted to know if shes a solid wee thing

Re: Trademe auction
I don't think this is the same car you are thinking of. Think that one was a limey green/yellow.

Re: Trademe auction
Yeah this car has not been stolen. I have seen it around Feilding.
It has been around for years this car 10+ in its current state.
My understanding is that it was built by the son of Pete Sales (a well known motorcycle parts guru in Palm Nth) and has changed owners a few times since then.
This is why it has SRD - Sales racing developments on it in various places.
I know it says that its been rebuilt but receipts would prove that.
It would cost a lot more to do the upgrades that has been done on this from scratch.
Get rid of the wheels would be my first improvement.
