Can you get involved in their event at the track? If it is a speed event you may be able to run together and at a fraction of the cost and organisation, also all risk is on them if anything goes wrong or Ambo is needed. We run Pursuit sprints here at Ruapuna that you could all run together as a group.

Labour weekend at taupo is always a national race meeting. We could spectate but that's about it. We would be better to do what classicdat said and join in someone else's day. I think we would struggle to get the numbers to make the track hireage viable. Taupo car club run dual sprint meetings through the winter which are good. Or else find a paddock, that's probably the best idea.

My boss always donates a paddock for a track in month of october til nov its just before they get croped but im no where near taupo

ok taupo annual cruise it is still on any body got some ideas to put forward

20th saturday night are we keen for dinner at ploughmans or would we be keen on dinner closer to town ?

21st sunday morning meet up on water front 10 am for some showing to the public and then on to a cruise ...am thinkin at this stage will do the road around the lake

21st sunday evening after cruise meet up for prize giving maybe bbq and beers ( ideas for venue or spot to meet up ? )

ok a day cruise it is then meet back in taupo somewhere for prize giving ...numbers for dinner would be great so we could book the restaurant. Cant wait for this cruise lets get some momentum Cheers
