Well Stoked aye, wasnt expecting quite so much rust - ive pumped her full of cavity wax in the areas that have been repaired.

As soon as this is sold ill be getting the 260c sedan up and running - needs sill and door repairs - so will be getting him round for that too.

It was the first time hes used a match up can (always had proper compressor and tinned paint etc to work with) and he was pretty rapt with his first attempt - i laughed cos ive always used them and never used a gun. :D

A guy called hamish collison, hes in the club - and he used to work for a classic restoration company out oxford way here in chch.

He works for an architectural design engineering shop now and makes all sorts of weird and wonderful things.

i wasnt expecting this kind of awesomeness on the sunny but he treats every job the same and gives 110% aye, Def GC and good all round guy to know - :D :D

Manual conversion finished, drives really well, surprised at the power difference without the power sucking auto. Is up for sale atm if anyone wants a super tidy 310 as a good base.

Time to get stuck into the 1200 me thinks. (the firewall and gearbox tunnel already have a few grind marks :) ).
