new fuel lines

Post by Lang Inder »

am up to that stage of installing new fuel lines into the 140j, just have to decide on what size.

Was always planning to use 3/8 lines, should these be ok? feeding the 44mm sidedraughs

3/8" is overkill if anything.

I know it's different but you can make 500+rwhp on a 5/16" fuel line on an EFI car,

It'll work fine, in my eyes it's overkill though.

Agreed, if it's staying carb 5/16th is better suited.

I sell alot of -6 braided line which is equal to 3/8 for all carb setups as in my eys its better to have a high flow rate when your pressure is really low and ive never had any complaints with it being to big. I have -6 braided line from the rear tank all the way to my twin 40mm webers and its fine.

So pretty much equal opinions on both 3/8 and 5/16 lines haha
