Re: Shell Sport Series
That looks great, although yet another pull on A12 parts. Datsun parts in general. Looking forward to it.

Re: Shell Sport Series
Looking at the rules I don't think you'll be able to do that.
Re: Shell Sport Series
the part about "if its originally mcpherson strut, then that must be re-tained" will rule out using your mod, unfortunately.torqued wrote:Question regarding the rules. What do you make of this?

Re: Shell Sport Series
Adam ask. I read it as you could build your own from lightweight material. So I think as long as they are struts:)

Re: Shell Sport Series
On Youtube there is a clip of an SS2000 1200 coupe, this is the North Island Equivalent series which has sort of continued on from ShellSport, hence SS(2000), with a race A15 producing over 200Hp. I'm not sure what the Sanyo one produced, but I guess it was up there.DJZ wrote:What kind of power were the A & L series motors they were using back in the day making and does anybody know roughly what the cars weighed?
Weights would have been the same as this I guess:
Vehicles must comply with the following weight requirements.
0 – 1300cc 1250lbs (567 kgs)
1301cc – 1600cc 1600lbs (726 kgs)
1601cc – 2000cc 1900lbs (836 kgs)
