Hey guys, work just held a Supra club dyno day. It went real well had about 20 cars go through.
I ran it by the boss and he is keen to do a Datsun club dyno day at some point
So anyway I thought I would get an idea of interest and go from there
Basically the plan at this stage would be (based on what we did today)
$50 a car to get a couple of power runs. He will connect the O2/boost pressure to moniter during the run and give you a print out of your run. He was also giving everyone a bit of advice on areas they could improve on today. No actual tuning will take place though as we need to move pretty fast to get everyone through in time.
If we finish on time we will have a beer and a bbq sausage to round off the day (although if we had a volunteer to man the bbq we could probably have this going during the day too).
Would be good if someone in the club could organise a few little prizes for the day? Doesnt need to be anything big
Maybe most powerful, least powerful (a few others maybe?)
Also any particular time? Was thinking early september since we doing Hamner in august (*cough a month should also be plenty long enough to get your wagon going chris *cough*)
Does September clash with any other events?
Thinking we would probably need around 15 cars to make it worth while.
So if you think your keen let me know and if I get enough interest I can start trying to organise something.
Any suggestions/comments welcome

I would sure love to come and watch, standard A15 with exhaust wouldn't pull massive figures on the dyno be good to see some datsuns laying down some power
Re: EOI on Datsun Club Dyno Day?
I'm down for this with 2 cars if they are both going at the time haha. One on my mates might be interested in bringing his S13 if you need non Datsuns to make up the numbers.

Ultra keen for this to happen. My car won't be ready but I'll find something to put on there...how much power you reckon an atc250r has haha
"You make onry one car style!!"
I felt particularly exhausted all my sheet is not subjective

Of course spectators/supporters are more than welcome. Will add to the atmosphere.
Dont let low power figures stop you from getting your car on the dyno. You might be in the running for lowest hp prize haha
John, I think we can possibly arrange something haha
Yeah no problem Vaughn, the O2 sensor just clips into the tail pipe. So you can definitely run them up for a power figure

Not sure, think the boss (and possibly me too) are heading down to waimate for the Waimate 50 street racing. So probably not ideal. It is a good thought though
