Ems Project S13 SR20 1200 Ute

Hey everyone,
I thought I would chuck up a couple of pics to start a project thread on this ute....

Heres a couple pics, its not looking to great at the moment, Ive been collecting parts/panels and a better drivetrain for it so it so im not doing much to it yet.

Plans for it,

Colour White,
S13 SR20DE Engine, Im a female so dont need DET power,
Gilmour pulleys,
Navara Gearbox with S14 bellhousing,
Navara Diff shortened to fit and with Primera Discs/U13 Bluebird calipers,
910 Bluebird Struts and discs with R31 Brake Calipers,
15" Watanabe Rims,
Guard mirrors for the jdm look,
New rear quaters when I can find some,
Get it as low as possible.

Big thanks to DATY12/Kev supplying the new tailgate and doors, plus other things to come down the track

nice wee project there. love your plans for it and really like the watanabes. if you looking for rear quarters, PM member Brdflu. he works for nissan in chch and can get new nissan stock for quarters if im correct. not too cheap though

I drive like an old lady , anyway my husband has a RX3 which is pretty fast so I just go in that from time to time

Heres a new pic of engine with S14 bellhousing/Navara Gearbox bolted together. The Gearstick is 650mm back from bellhousing which is only 100mm back from original gearstick hole in the floor.

Whats the reason for using the Navara box instead of a complete S13/4 box?
Does it move the shifter forwards?

Really liking this project think it will go very well and will look super cool parked next to the RX3

Yep the ute has limited space as it is, gearstick would of been inbetween the seats which is no good.
This box the stick is only 100mm back from the original hole. S14 box the stick is 800mm back where the navara box is 650mm.

Got some doors last week to fill the holes up the ute has had for ages



Cant wait for the diff to be shortened then we can push it outside for some better pics and a change of scenery as its been in the shed like this since early 2011.
