Re: Nick 1200 sedan
Well got a bit more done on my pedal box this weekend. There is still a bit more to to do to finish it off, but I've done enough to run brake lines and stuff so thats all I need for now.
Heres the pictures
Don't look too closely at the welding on the firewall, it was an ass to get to so it doesn't look too flash!

Re: Nick 1200 sedan
I've got pictures but i'm too lazy to upload them because i'm about to get into bed but I have been doing some work.
Being the fussy bastard that I am it took all of a day to decide that I didn't like the way my pedal box was mounted due to my disgusting ass welds so I was out with the angle grinder and put more firewall in the bin (there's not that much left anyway!) so i've redone that and it looks much better, I also finished off my diff (bar paint) and got all the brake lines made and bent up and caliper mounted and put it in the car.......... then noticed that the brake hose was going to rub against the chassis rail before it got to the bump stop and the bleed nipple would more than likely foul on the seam. As you can imagine I was pretty annoyed especailly after spending $100 on laser cut bits and bobs.
So im now redoing the rear calipers as there is no way to move the s13 calipers to make them clear everything i've decided to use the A32 fwd cefiro calipers I also have. The upside is the cefiro has bigger pads than s13 calipers so should match the front nicely, the down side is the handbrake brackets are not even remotely close and point at the diff. So I need to make new handbrake cable mounts and get some new levers cut that point in the right direction. Ah the joy of modifying cars ay......
So as a result I have some S13 to borgwarner caliper brackets should anyone require some. There are a few mods to make them fit but its all pretty straight forward stuff to do if you have the diff out of the car.

Re: Nick 1200 sedan
cheers wal
I'll get there one day.....
I'm going to get a driveshaft made this week and then have another look at where to run the cables. Once thats sorted the rear brakes will be finished (thank god)

Re: Nick 1200 sedan
you gona start a thread on how to put a bargwarner diff in a 1200 so everyone else can share your fun!? Glad to hear The rear end is sooo close, its all down hill from here.I'll pop by sometime for a noisey.keep it up.
