Ok so do i need to cut the ignition wire and run it to the Female terminal on the tacho then run the male terminal on the tacho to the coil, then wire the wire that came off the coil back to the other end of the ignition wire?
Just checking as i dont really want to cut the ignition wire if i dont have to

problem is i cant get the fuel gauge to work (does the car need to be running for this to work?) apart from that I'm good to go.
I tried changing the Yellow and Red/White wire around which resulted in my LH fr lower indicator/park nice led lights wires melting! Not that much fun looking up and seeing smoke come out of the bonnet!! so i put the wires back to the setup above and decided to call it a night.
any ideas?
Have you checked the fuses and connections with battery. They must be tight and accurate.

Re: HELP wiring coupe dash
Seams odd that you got it all to work but its wired half the same as mine (you would think the same colour wires would be for the same things), I guess whatever works. Have you checked the sender at the fuel tank, have you run the car and watched the temp guage come up.
Re: HELP wiring coupe dash
yep car starts and fuel gauge works, for temp i have a different gauge so the original one in dash doesn't work but just had a sparkly go over it and everything seems right,
