Awesome, go the Nissan way, that SR package sounds the go :D And you could have it going in time for Akaroa!

SR is the way to go too.
Hope you're not getting it soda blasted as you never get it all out of the seams and over time it will rust stain along the seams.
If not, if just sand blasting why go all the way to Rotorua? There must be someone closer.

But theres a few sr20 510s. I wana b a little different, even though i know theres rotary datsuns aswell. If i was to get a 13b like im planning. If got a personalise plate i want.

Iv been told to do sodablasting because sandblasting cant do flat panels. They heat up and can warp. And iv been referred to a guy in rotorua for being the best of the best

soda blasting is the way to go I believe, its also water soluble, so it can be washed out of those awkward spots.

Cars that have been sandblasted bleed sand forever. Dad had his plymouth done, and he must have vacuumed it out at least 6 times. And sand still seems to appear from it. Even after panel and paint.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Im still finding huge pockets of fucken sand everywhere in my car. even after spending a few hours over a week trying to get it all out

SR's and rotors both go great in 1600's, I would say however resale value and sellability is much better with an SR than a rotor, if you were ever to sell it

The full name of the soda is "caustic soda" and it might be water soluble but so is acid which I'm sure you would think twice about before blasting your car with it. Getting it completely out of the seams is the problem. I know a 1600 that was soda blasted a few years ago and all the seams are leaching rust. If they can get it ALL neutralised go for it after all it's your car. Ideas and advice is what this forum is about but it's up to you in the end.

I have no idea what i want to do lol, apart from i dont want to sand the wntire thing by hand down to bare steel.

Its for my 72 datsun 510 which ive decided to put a 13b in.
Ive thought of either ...

"ROTADT"

Or...

"BRAPSN"
