anyone got tips on how to get the pitman arm & steering box arm off the bar that goes accross the crossmemember, I have not got a ball joint splitter.
But thought you guys out there may have a cunning way to get them off???

Just loosen the nut leaving it on a couple of turns, to protect the thread and stop the joint flying off. Hold a heavy hammer or other suitable hard heavy metal object on one side of the joint, (the metal that has the hole in it the shank goes through) and smack the other side of the hole. What you want to do is shock the hole out of round so the shank of the tie-rod end pops out. Hope this makes sense.
