I like rotas  but dont like the ones with a 10 inch drain pipe for an exhaust that can be heard from 2 streets away, I think the triple roter conversion would be great, especially if done to a high standard which by all accounts is what you look likely to achieve.

and dont take offence, your just getting a teaseing, at least you are still taking the time to restore a classic piece of datsun architecture.

more pics please.

Especially people with sr's who are offering you help and a ride haha

A lot of people think rotaries belong in mazdas. Dunno about n/a 13bs but I've smoked a 12a pp in my car when it was still running dead stock

Still, one of the scariest, most insanely rapid cars I've been in was an rx3 coupe with a 13b big stage 2 & 48 IDA under the bonnet

the nissan president back in the 70s like the rotary engine as thy had prototype a 1200 coupe with a 10a pp more than twice its original hp and if it wasnt for the oil price hike bck thn thy would of made the production line pretty sure they had already made the factory to go ahead before they pulld the pin
anyways u get use to the touge n cheek comments 9 times out 10 they change ther tune afta u take em for drive iv turned a few nissan men to the dark side ha ha

Haha DAT

Its amazing how much difference that weight makes, there is a reasonable difference between an s13 and and s13 repowered datsun.
Would love a 13bt datsun but im a bit of stickler for same manufacture repowers.

Couldnt decide so best of both worlds for me.
Wanted datsun so brought one, forgot to put rx2 up for sale so kept it.

BROKE, that post of yours is pure gold mate...

Each to their own ah boys, and all that, when it comes to staying stock, souping up original with side suckers, bolting on a hair dryer or ITB's or 'DET'ing or Rotisirizing it..... or whatever.... the main thing is you are in a Datsun ;)

Just don't slam your 510 on Spitfires & eagers, with plastic bolt on flares, big S/S dumpy, wankel graphics on back window, and fluro, metallic, or chameleon paint scheme!!! :guns:
