1975 120Y coupe for sale

Have been contacted by a retired gentleman that has the following car for sale.

It is a 1975 120y coupe in very tidy condition (would almost say mint), 1200cc auto, has travelled 119000kms, doesn't get driven in winter and has been in the same family for approx 15 years, the head has been rebuilt by Jamies motors in moorehouse ave.

He is wanting offers around the $6000.

anyone have thought on what this is worth?

Have talked to the old guy who owns it and am getting kane/crustywhip to check it out for me next week. He said is been stripped down and any rust fixed and fully repainted. New ball joints/steering joints etc and work done on the brakes. Head has been rebuilt as well. Is wofd/regd and no issues there.

It seems that it is pretty mint and he is asking 6k as thats what someone told him he should ask for. I know little about datsun value but seems a bit steep for an a12 auto 120y....

am dead keen but not really wanting to part with that much cashola if I can help it.

any opinions would be great

I'm pretty sure you couldn't buy then build one to this standard for 6k. If i had the money i would pay between 5000-5500k.

Id tend to agree, if its as tidy as it looks in the pics then its definitely worth around the 5500 mark id say
