Bet your itching to leave this weather behind now Dan.Yea Krakow it was, cool place, cooler car.The only place I saw mass datsuns was the north of Greece,1200 utes everywhere...I didn't realise their financial crisis had got so bad they were resorting to datsuns haha. Not really a datsun but we had to take a few pics of this showroom condition S12 in Stuttgart,Germany.CA18ET manual.
Assembled axles/cv's tonight and bolted them onto the diff.I'm waiting on a couple of small things that should be finished by the end of the week then the rear subframe will hopefully go in for good

Once for a cable speedo, one for a VSS for the ecu?
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............
Re: Johns cedric sgle
Correct Bart, the things you gotta do huh.
This things been like a second job (and a second mortgage) lately.Been putting in big hours since I got back and I'm starting to get results woop
-Brake lines are run and bleed with one wee leak to sort out.
-Rear subframe, driveshaft, diff etc in for good.
-Wiring getting sorted.
-Air lines getting sussed.
-Picked up fuel tank today and start installing it tonight.
-Engine bay 95% done, just need a couple of tanks finished off.
-Hand brake is all in and working but the Cedric handbrake lever to skyline brakes conversion leaves me with a very hard hand brake,it works but I just about need two hands to pull the thing on.so I'm after a 260c handbrake lever to modify if anyone has one.
Yay progress

Nah sadly it won't be on the road for Nats Vaughn.hopefully next year ha.
Need some help from the masses.I was gonna run the factory head unit aswell as a modern jobby.Reason was coz the old unit was super cool, you could adjust the volume and station from the back seats and it would scan for stations with the dial turning and the bar going across untill it stopped on the next station.Thinking about loosing it now,I'm never gonna use it and yea just not 100% on keeping it.What do you reckon?

Re: Johns cedric sgle
Defiantly keep it. This is what i intend to do in my president so i can keep the same setup. Setup an amp some where hidden im guessing you were going to have an amp any way and have this feed the speakers. Then get a little line switch so you can switch between 2 inputs to the amp. On one input just have a line in so you can plug mp3 players and the likes directly in and then on the other direct the speaker outs from the factory head unit to it. Then put a band expander on factory head unit and sweet as can roll your radio and so on through your lush 70's head unit and then switch to line in when you want to use some modern tech.
