1980 720 flat deck diff needed
Im after a diff for my 1980 720 ute or could i rebuild build the one i have, at the moment its making a bad rattle thats driving me crazy, im new to the datsun world so any help or guidance would be much appreciated cheers will.

Have you changed the diff oil? What condition is the oil?
Diffs dont rattle as such (I could be wrong), have you checked the rear suspension for any loose items? Worn bushes?
Loose deck mounting bolts?

its like something is loose in there maybe a tooth or a crown bolt?? have not checked oil will do so now.

I Have a diff if you still need 1 Budd, is it diesel or petrol?

hey sorry i managed to find problem it was the pin that holds my spider gears together had snapped, so that was the rattle, thank you for that and sorry for late reply cheers will
