they are meant to be sparco, they are probably knockoff ones.
I have kept my stock latch & safety latch, these are extra security to stop the "float" that i get from the panel gaps.
Went for a evening drive out to Diamond Harbour , car is unreal totally and properly unreal.
It does things that shouldn't be possible, I'm blown away by how well it goes - we were only taking it easy too
Steve ( Datman310) might chime in soon

Re: James 85 300zx 100% Legal Spec
Drove to work on Friday and got a nice puddle of Antifreeze underneath my car.
Looks like one of my heater hoses is weeping and its going to require the coolant drained, and intake plenum removed to access it
At least i know what it is in time for Trackway. Also put a different boost gauge on it and its only making 7psi at WOT thats on a 10psi wastegate spring.
Good thing I have got a 15 psi spring waiting to go into it

Danger to the Manifold
I am having bad luck with Nissan's today, drove to my old mans and said Giday and left a puddle of Antifreeze in his garage.
I watched coolant dripping into the valley, upon closer inspection i have No F%%(^*$%^#&ing Idea which exact component is at fault.
Looks like this whole lot of metal pipework + T stat housing needs to be blasted and cleaned so i can see what the hell is going on, then replace the gaskets and 90deg hose and try it again. On a worse note the Diesel Bluebird has blown its Head Gasket and is just pressuring up the coolant until its pushed it out of the overflow.
so the only thing working right now is my god dam truck.
And i know those intake port Gaskets are not cheap either

One of the worst pipes to leak on a VG is the one for the heater that runs through the middle haha! DETT motor is worse!

bro i feel your pain - 2 cars and 2 cars that dont go - i do have some Metalic block seal here that you could try - looks like it does the trick and for $20 might just get the diseasel going again.
Re: James 85 300zx Danger to the Manifold
That does not look like fun at all. Hopefully it doesn't take you off the road for too long.

Re: James 85 300zx Danger to the Manifold
Matt - it wasn't too bad on the 30ET , i managed to take off the lower and upper manifold in one go without having to upset a whole other bunch of stuff which made it pretty fast to get to.
Brock - I'm going to bust the head off the bluebird and see whats going on, it should only need a new gasket because this motor has never been overheated, so I'm hoping that the head is nice and straight and can be fitted up with a new gasket and just carry on.'
John - I'm hoping to have the Z going maybe tomorrow night, Plan is to do all the cleaning and prep today and order a new 90deg hose and new gaskets for the inlet manifold and crack everything open, re seal it and re assemble.
