evening precious.....
if you and the young lads need a place to stay this weekend... half my house is away, and i have a double and queen bed at your disposal, nothing on the posh living of the rich but it is free, and in westlake drive....! posh_ish.... and it comes with full house facilities, there is a minimal catch though.......... if your drinking your dirty green bottle beers while your kids watch my impressive hoard of animated collection movies...... i require a person to tolerate my lack of knowledge based on "A" series engines............

Re: Kitch's 120Y
Wal, you know I have OCD, so of course things sorted!
Sorted this week so far:
> re-setup the rear end better, and check drive shaft clearance to back of the gearbox
> Adjust hand brake tension, to new axles position (pushed back approx 15mm)
> swap over the dodgey wheel nuts, to better fitting ones
> Fitted some old school pioneer box speakers & a head unit, to try to overcome wind & road noise
> refitted demister shroud & pipes that were disconnected for some reason
> fitted spare wheel
> topped up brake fluid
Just have to sort out clutch cable adjustment now, and its booked in for wheel alignment friday arvo
Heading out for a wee cruise now

Re: Kitch's 120Y
the Y didnt miss a beat at Akaroa weekend.
550km in 36 hours, not bad considering it had only done about 100 miles in the previous 12 months!
Unfortunately though, this wee beast will be on the market in the not too distant future. Have been to see my panel beater tonight (after new found post Akaroa enthusiasm has kicked in) and the coupe is going to be hopefully in and finished before Xmas (all prepp'd, engine bay and door shuts painted, and body fill and final block back & prime). This is going to cost me quite a bit of $, and I cleaned my Datsun account buying a boat for the family a few weeks back, so I unfortunately will have to cash up the Y
