72 Datsun 510 for sale
Re: 72 Datsun 510 for sale
just read through the whole thread, seems there is some rust, but still a sound shell and starting point etc, be good to see some pics if its been blasted, still seems like a good price to me, I payed a $1000. for that black one I did and had to re-register it ,not to mention buying guards and tyres and other parts that were missing.

Hey Brody,Brody72datsun wrote:I payed 2200$ for the whole car. So anywhere around that.
Sadly i didnt think about it all that much. Im on apprentice wage. And the money itl take to get it done is just a bit too hard to find on minimum wage. Dont want it to rust away. So its looking for a new home!
Sorry to hear that.
I thought you were being overly optimistic with your budget but as long as it goes to a good home another Datsun will live again.
I would love to buy it but with the current project at least a year away from finishing plus another that we have just finished (for now) we have all the Datsuns that we can manage.
My son ,Chris, says he used to own this car at one stage when he lived in Auckland a few years back.
Anyway good luck with the sale.

Awesome, good on you mate, don't hear many say wish I'd sold it, but you often hear wish I'd never. I don't think you will regret kepping it.
