1985 720 ute diff ratio, need to change my ratio

Hi all , another newbe here.
I got my self a present in the form of a 1985 720 single cab flat deck ute.
Im going to have a go at doing it up, that part will be pretty easy as its in quite good shape.
My real problem is that it is running a 1600 4 speed colum change with a 4.8 diff ratio, I need a replacement diff, or can I change the ratios. 100k at ten million revs isnt that cool. if so where can I get the parts, is there a compatiable donner car ( maybe a bluebird of similar age) that will do the trick.

hey mate i got a 720 space cab had a 1800 5spd imagine it would have a 4.1 maybe. make an offer if ya keen

flag the column change and drop a 5 speed in. that's what i did and it goes good. or you need to find a 3.9 that's what mine had in it factory with the column change

cheers , what sort of money do you want for the 5 speed, truck is in bits at the moment, stripped paint and all most finnished midnight black paint job, interior is also black, not that lovely blue.
my boy also has a 720, and that one is a desile running a five speed. was going to pinch his gear box but got told no!
