Wanted 280zx brake master cyl

Post by 521 Mgee »

Its for my datsun 521, apparently they have the same bolt pattern as a 521 except they have a bigger bore, and are of a dual circuit design.
Have searched around a few local parts suppliers and cant find anything to suit.

Has anyone purchased one before, or knows where I could find one. I would consider a second hand one.

Cheers

Cheers guys, I did try Automotive suppliers and they only had a version that had the mounting holes positioned horizontally as opposed to vertically. So that wouldnt work any way.
Also it seemed pretty expensie, from memory at over $100.

Might have to look into getting one from the US, or looking for other options....

I'd start looking at other options, they are expensive even from the States from what I can remember, $180US including shipping from eBay, $300US + shipping from MSA and they are unavailable at the moment.

I have managed to find some 240/260/280z master cylinders ex USA which are 7/8 bore and they are remanufactured master cylinders which are rebored, sleeved and brought up to new standard. I am going to bring one in for myself but it would owe you $140 that includes GST and freight from the states to here with one of my stock orders which wouldnt be here till midway through Jan

That sounds like the best option i've got at the moment, I would like to purchase one of these thanks mate. Do they all have the same bolt patterns through from 240-280? Im in Auckland, how much do you think they would cost to ship up here? Please contact me on 0274679939, thanks
