Seeking Datsun 240k

Post by chicko25 »

Hey Guys,
Im hoping you can help me out. Im seeking a Datsun 240k for my brother (complete or needing restoration) and just cant find one anywhere in Australia! I googled NZ and found your club and a post from June last year where there were 12 Datsuns for sale in NZ!! Without boring you with the long winded story, my brother had one when he was 18, now he doesnt and regrets getting rid of it! It appears we will have to search the globe to find one...
Any information or advice you have will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Jess

Honestly good luck with that. The prices fetched here make Ozzie ones a steal. The most recent sale of one requiring a full rebuild went for over 10k easy. Plus Ozzie has strict import laws.

The reason you can't find in Oz is because a lot of them go to the middle east.

Your best place to look / get in touch with other Oz 240K owners is the forum at http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/model-240k/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
