As previously discussed at the committee meetings, hamish is not witholding the photos of progress, he is keeping it quiet so we can debut this at akaroa as a suprise...well it was supposed to be a suprise! Dan can you please check your pm regarding this sent yesterday thanks

Ok guys we have updates - heres a pic just to get everyone in on the action - the first pic is pretty much when Hamish first took on the work of building up our club BBQ trailer, which in itself is an update from the working bees out at haydens by various members including Wal on the welder.

He has had it for a while and progress is huge so far - i will update the thread fully with around 25 photos up to where it is now, when i get back from Nelson on friday - this will get everyone fizzing up haha

I know its been a long time since some have seen it but what do you guys think so far??

This was Hamish' initial sketch / idea to work from






Its has had alot of work done so far - have a look at the pics - the easy mods are.......

Cut and move front floor down
Delete door handles
Cap off front of doors
Build up lids (top and front will be hinged with gas struts).......

I could list all the mods etc but id be here all day

Hamish is working on it when he can and it putting in some pretty cleaver details........

















































Hamish has said some repaires etc are mock up and or partially finished but i think it looks amazing so far - lots of room for storage of other things like the gas bottle, table and gazebo etc.

Will get another update in a few weeks time and Hamish is busy with band stuff atm.

It has also been registered so has its own number plate and rego - just needs a wof when welding is finished.
