Panel and paint CHCH

Post by Zeeya »

hey guys,
im looking to get my Datsun 240z a new paint job. As you can see the coat is starting to dull a little and would like to bring her up to her former glory.

Is there anyone on here that could recomend some one in christchurch? i have just moved down from Hamilton so i wouldnt have a clue who to ask.

Some one that has worked and done good work on Datsuns before would be preferred. . .
any help would be great.

thanks again :)

Depending on what level of service you are after, my mate Hadleigh who has restored my 1200 sedan previously, and also my current project 1200 coupe (click on my signature for links to build threads/ progress photos etc)
He could be interested in undertaking your work, depending on your budget, what you require, and timing (he is usually booked out for several months in advance with clients waiting to get their cars in)
He is currently doing a bare metal build up of a left hook 240Z amongst other classic cars.

his contact details, are on his (basic) web site:
http://hbombnz.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you want to do a road trip down to Timaru at some stage with your Z, and see his work first hand, and maybe check out the Z he is doing, and view his work to date on my coupe I can tee this up for you.

Cheers

hey Kitch,

nothing to major at the moment. want the gaurds rolled out a little more and just a re-spray. there are a few spots with bubbles that are starting to come through the paint. just the skim coat underneath has got a bit of moisture in there. so prob just a sand back, light skim coat a prime and paint should do it for now until i know exactly what i want to do to it.

cheers,
