Wow. It was indeed quite a day! Sorry I got "piss tired" and had to go home early. Best turnout for this cruise yet too!
We need to have something between Akoroa and xmas I reckon.

agree with bart on this one. WE NEED SOMETHING!!! so i thought i would start a discussion thread to throw around any ideas you guys may have as to where we could possibly go for a day or two. being summer will help alot with weather and what not, so hopefully that will open up a few more options.

to kick things off, why dont we try and possibly revive the old cave stream thread? it will get all our pasty white arses out of the garage/ houses and into the sun and the sweet outdoors. may even give us some inspiration for our cars.

so, let your imaginations run mad and lets hear your ideas.

I was thinking of starting this very thread actually. maybe we could head up Kaikoura? or north to maruia springs or murchison? or down south, down haydens way? We live in a mint as country, so we should be jumping in our datto's and seeing more of it!

The inland kaikoura road is quite a good drive (well it was when it was closed due to slips and flooding and I snuck around the road closed sign in the mighty ute on the way to Picton).

Even a trip to the coast would be pretty good.

Any events on that may be worth going to if we are going to make a weekend of it.

As for Bart he is scared of the pubs......................they may make him piss tired again. lol

Tekapo would be another good weekend option
