Pretty sure it's a Lada - wheel arches are flattened off at the top, and it has front 1/4 windows.

Pretty sure the Lada 1500 call was spot on:

OMG - So many green ones rolling out of the woodwork - this was in peacock street in ChCh the other day - I hit the owner up about a year ago on the one with hubbies and he doesnt want to sell - its the one kitch saw in chch a few weeks back. It is totally mint - probably minter than our one - whoops






The cat is pretty much out of the bag on the one on wheels - Dad and I brought it as a keeper, he wanted a Datsun and i got offered this so we went halves (eg we didnt get it at the usual rate for buying datsuns) - build thread to some soon. Still got some tidying to do but the more i work on it the more i love the bigger Datsun models.
